GODC, along with its partners and stakeholders involved in the preparation of the new programming period and in the implementation of the current programming period, organises and participates in various events. The events are held to provide the partners with up-to-date information and to give them the chance to make their own proposals for the upcoming period. These proposals are taken on board to the greatest extent possible.

A number of other events was also held across the country between January 2019 and February 2020 bringing together the relevant stakeholders - state authorities, local level decision-makers, practitioners, experts and interested public to discuss the investment needs and priorities for the upcoming period and provide proposals for future Cohesion Policy in Slovenia.
